PLASMA TECHNOLOGY
to improve PRINTING and PAINTING

Plasma surface treatment revolutionized the printing and painting industry, significantly improving the adhesion of ink on infinite surfaces.

Effectiveness features by plasma applications are especially revealed in difficult contexts such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) and polycarbonate (PC) uses.
These are usually difficult materials for the adhesion of inks however, after the Plasma Treatment, these surfaces are "wettable" in a very short time and therefore also the solvent-free inks show to obtain an exceptional level of adhesion during the printing processes .
It is important to highlight that the Plasma process is "cold" and therefore materials sensitive to thermal variations are easily subjected to this type of treatment. Batch Plasma Treatment proved to be very interesting for surface activation operations where there are structures that make up three-dimensional shapes, even complex ones, of both plastic materials, metals, glass or ceramics.
Plasma Treatment applied on polymer structures and composite materials allows for superior paint finishes and a significant improvement in the adhesion of paints and inks.
Low pressure and Atmospheric Plasma systems, can be installed both in single structures and in line chain structures and certainly eliminate the need of boring mechanical abrasions and other treatments.
